Welcome to 2023! Did you start this year FRESH, with a clean slate? Yes! No! Maybe! You don't know! Well, I have good news, you still have time, to develop your freshness! A fresh voice, fresh perspective all while developing a fresh you! Our steps are ordered in this next process of becoming fresh. Think of the saying, "On your mark, get set, go!" Establishing ourselves "on the mark" Begins with your faith. "Get set" starts with our focus, and "go" starts with a forward direction with faith in Him. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1)! "TAKE YOUR "MARK"! For 2023 and beyond " GET TO THE LINE" and posture for each new mark by trusting God fully with your yes and your yield. All of this requires FAITH!
Focus
We must stay "FRESH with our FOCUS"! Don't just "Take your Mark" but get ready, "Get Set", and "Stay SET"! Listen, although you have a fresh slate, interruptions and setbacks will happen but maintain and plan your "FOCUS" I once read, we don't plan to fail, we fail to plan. When it seems that you are failing, you are fed up and life seems stale, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things (all things you desire) shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). So, let's STAY SET by refocusing, securing our daily focus on Him, His word and His plan. Daily focus process may look differently on each of us but some ways we can focus is through our heart posture, mind regulation, preparations and planning. Now that's how to maintain your freshness in Him!
Its "GO TIME", it's time to LAUNCH OUT INTO THE DEEP, the NEW, the FRESH! It's time to mount up, move on and manifest forward! Here is where we put action in our feet and add it to our faith. Let us move forward in Him and grow! This is the year of change, progress and innovation! So, stay ready and remain steady in Him because this faith walk is about progression not perfection. Our hope is in God, so trust God's vision and commit to God's process. We will finish strong! Let's press toward the mark of the high calling by letting go of the past and reaching to what lies ahead. Let us have faith, keep focus and move forward in God's will for 2023 and beyond!
This is such an awesome kickoff for 2023. I really started to learn to trust and lean on him more in 2022. The things of my past I wouldn’t change because they made me who I am. However they can’t go with me into the future because I don’t need them to interfere with who I am becoming. I am praying for increased faith, vision, and focus for all of 2023.
